The Quadra-Fire Classic Bay 1200 stove has three different feed rate settings and an adjustable convection blower. The burn pot in the Classic Bay 1200 stove reaches 2000 degrees with its cyclone design. This reduces the emissions from the stove to an average of less than 1 gram per hour. The unit features a large ash draw and large hopper to hold 80 pounds of pellets. Which can provide fuel for up to 40 hours of continuous operation.

Stove Heat Output:

15,000 – 40,000 BTU’s

Heating Capacity up to 2,500 sq.ft

Biomass Pellet Choice:

Quadra fire do not provide much information on the stove burn pot design and layout, therefore the possibility of using high ash and clinker fuels is unknown. However on the corrosion and maintenance side, the aluminium heat exchanger tubes are a plus, and the EZ clean fire pot and ash cleanout. I would probably think the stove is really only suitable for premium wood pellets though, as the fake logs could cause some issues when burning other type of biomass pellet. However the description for the Classic Bay 1200 states the log set is optional.
